Six riders of Tormans Cyclo Cross Team competed in the Brussels Universities Cyclocross this Sunday. It was the last U23 race of the season and therefore, the last outing of Joran Wyseure in his rainbow kit this season. He battled for the win with Dutchmen Pim Ronhaar and Mees Hendrikx and eventually took second place. Théo Thomas crossed the line in sixth place. Wyseure was invited to the podium a second time for his third place in the overall classification of the X2O Trophy.
After their top ten in Gavere one day before, Zoe Bäckstedt and Marie Schreiber performed again at their best among the elite women. Despite two flat tires, the 17 year old Briton took 7th place, with Schreiber finishing just outside the top ten. In the men’s elite category, Kevin Kuhn took 8th place and Corné van Kessel finished 19th.
