Biography

Shana Maes is the first female rider in Tormans Cyclo Cross Team. The 25 year old Belgian rider defends the colors of Acrog-Tormans Balen BC on the road, where she prepares her first season in a UCI Cyclocross Team. The rider from the Campine region, who wins several regional cyclocross races each winter, will be an important element in the development of the talents within Tormans-Acrog Balen BC. The resident of Vorselaar finished several times on the podium of the Belgian U23 championships. Maes joins the effective guided by Bart Wellens, willing to shine both regionally and internationally.
